As a Consultant Project Manager in \’Aerospace, Defence, Security and Technology\’ (ADS&T), you\’ll be part of our Programme Delivery Practice. In your role, you\’ll enable organisations to achieve maximum benefits from digital transformation and innovative operations. You\’ll work directly with clients, identifying, shaping and managing better delivery capabilities. You\’ll be supported to lead your own work packages or Agile delivery teams across our markets.

Your purpose:

You will be able to work independently or manage high performing and technical multi-disciplinary teams. You will deliver products or outputs to time, cost, and quality; often using agile delivery methodologies to meet our clients’ needs. You will be people centric, striving to create and grow partnership level relationships, ensuring our clients are at the centre of everything we do and creating a positive impact through true change. What you can bring:

We have opportunities for people with solid project management experience or equivalent transferable skills from other careers. As a successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following skills or attributes:

  • Demonstrate a variety of technical project deliveries within collaborative environments.
  • Project management- The ability to manage all aspect of project delivery, including forecasting, change management and risk management.
  • Experience of working in a project delivery environment with a sound understanding of structured and agile methodologies (e.g. APMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, MSP, DSDM, Scrum).
  • Client engagement- Instil client confidence in project delivery through professionalism and passion.
  • Problem solving- Identify problems collaboratively and develop actions/solutions with our clients.
  • Commercial awareness- Providing contract management, supplier management or commercial advice to clients.
  • Experience and understanding of complex IT systems and managing delivery of IT projects in a Waterfall/Agile context is advantageous.
  • Market experience working within the UK Defence & Security sector is advantageous.
  • Ability to be UK mobile, including travel to and work from offices and client sites on a regular basis.

Security clearance:

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
