We are seeking an Engineering Manager (Process Engineering) to lead the development and delivery of process engineering solutions across a portfolio of major nuclear projects.
This role supports clean energy, defence, decommissioning and fuel cycle programmes.
Responsibilities
- Lead process engineering teams in the development and delivery of complex nuclear process systems and plant solutions.
- Provide technical direction across process design activities, including plant layout, system integration, safety considerations and operational requirements.
- Ensure process engineering deliverables are aligned with project objectives, regulatory expectations and client requirements.
- Drive collaboration across mechanical, civil, electrical, control and instrumentation disciplines to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
- Support the identification and management of technical risks, design challenges and key engineering decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and project stakeholders on process engineering matters.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Chemical, Process or a related Engineering discipline, with Chartered status or working towards Chartership.
- Experience leading process engineering activities on complex projects within nuclear or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of process design, system development and engineering integration.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments and managing interfaces across engineering disciplines.
- Proven ability to balance technical, programme and stakeholder requirements in the delivery of major projects.
- Experience within nuclear new build, decommissioning, waste management, defence or other complex process industries would be advantageous.
