Your role:

  • Providing technical guidance on highway infrastructure projects.
  • Mentoring and coaching team members and taking responsibility for their technical development.
  • Liaise with key clients and be capable of discussing design / technical solutions to stakeholders including technical and non-technical Clients.
  • Liaising with Practice Managers, ensure that projects are sufficiently resourced.
  • Delegating work to team members, programming deliverables and monitoring progress.
  • Identify and respond to project commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Support the business in work winning including representing the business at networking events, preparing bids and tenders and establish, maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective internal and external clients.

  • Able to demonstrate experience of developing strong and sustainable relationships with Clients, understanding their requirements and aspirations, and working effectively with them to achieve their objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills with proven ability to build and motivate teams working across the practices.

Security clearance:

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
