We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to support the building services team in driving consistent digital delivery across the Midlands, South West & Wales regions. You will embed information management and BIM best practice, support teams through the project lifecycle, and ensure delivery aligns with agreed standards, client requirements, and regional digital objectives. The role focuses on enabling capability building, assurance, and continuous improvement in BIM and digital delivery. You will work with discipline leads, regional leadership, and project teams to set delivery goals, develop delivery plans, and mentor teams on BIM workflows, tools, and standards across all project stages.

- Strategy
- Deliver the regional BIM strategy and transformation plan, aligned to agreed standards and ways of working.
- Define BIM scope, deliverables and approach to meet client needs and project outcomes.
- Translate BIM requirements, risks and constraints for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Assess, trial and support adoption of digital tools and methods that deliver measurable value.
- Support governance, assurance and reporting, evidencing benefits from improvements to people, process and technology.
- Act as a regional BIM/IM subject-matter contact and maintain current knowledge of standards and best practice.
- Work winning
- Provide BIM/IM input to bids (approach, deliverables, programme, resourcing and governance).
- Showcase digital value and lessons learned via case studies, presentations and examples of innovation.
- Shape early scope by clarifying BIM requirements, standards, risks, opportunities and deliverability.
- Engage clients and internal stakeholders to promote BIM capability and consistent messaging.
- Represent the business at industry forums and feed insights, trends and client needs into regional capability planning.
- Project Delivery
- Develop and implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), including processes, protocols and CDE configuration.
- Enable cross-discipline coordination and consistent application of BIM standards and workflows.
- Support information exchange, model QA and approval processes to meet client and project requirements.
- Track and report BIM delivery status, issues and risks; support audits, lessons learned and continuous improvement.
- People leadership
- Manage and coordinate BIM Coordinators (where applicable) to meet regional, project and client demands.
- Coach and mentor teams on BIM best practice, tools and consistent application of standards.
- Identify skills gaps, prioritise training needs and support delivery of upskilling plans with the wider BIM community.
- Champion collaborative working, effective coordination and information exchange across disciplines.
- Promote a positive safety, wellbeing and inclusion culture and contribute to wider practice initiatives.
- Align regional hardware/software needs with the BIM strategy and baseline project technology requirements.
About you
- Degree in Building Services, Engineering, Construction, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience as an Information/BIM Manager (or similar) in a multi-disciplinary environment across varied project types.
- Strong knowledge of UK BIM requirements and ISO 19650-aligned information management.
- Proficient with Revit, Navisworks and Revizto; other tools (e.g., Rhino, Solibri, Morta, OBD, StabiCAD, MagiCAD) desirable.
- Experienced in managing Common Data Environments (CDEs) for collaboration and controlled information exchange.
- Understanding of asset information and handover requirements; familiarity with asset management standards beneficial.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Automation/efficiency experience (e.g., Dynamo or Grasshopper) desirable.
