Job Description Overview

Our Infrastructure Division supports many of the major infrastructure programmes across the UK and internationally, focusing on delivering effective outcomes by optimising both new and existing assets.

The Infrastructure Asset Management Practice is a key component, ensuring customers’ outcomes are realised through bespoke sector‑specific solutions that optimise asset performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Asset Management Projects and provide leadership for significant strategic projects.
  • Benchmark and monitor asset performance, including the use and development of dashboards and digital tools to drive improved performance.
  • Develop and apply strategic planning, including risk‑based decision‑making tools, methodologies, and prioritisation.
  • Execute tactical planning to turn business plans into tangible outcomes.
  • Provide assurance and regulatory advice for UK water utilities and internationally.
  • Deliver strategic asset management advice, including gap analysis and improvement plans against ISO55001 and business process engineering.
  • Sell asset management expertise, building and coordinating a team to deliver solutions.
  • Participate in strategic planning for the aviation market to maximise profitability, marketing capabilities, operational efficiencies, and quality.
  • Leverage existing and develop new aviation client relationships to identify and pursue business opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of project work plans and reviews of schedules, budgets, milestone dates, and work products.
  • Implement annual and strategic plans for the area of responsibility and pursue new project opportunities by maintaining contacts with current and prospective clients.
  • Identify and resolve client relations problems.

Qualifications

  • Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Asset Management qualifications preferred but not essential.
  • Membership of an appropriate professional body preferred but not essential.
  • Proven track record in applying digital asset management, including advanced analytical techniques, to improve business performance and address client challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain complex matters to clients and stakeholders in a clear and relevant way.
  • Commercially astute and strategically focused.
  • Supportive and encouraging approach to identifying and nurturing talent.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a large consulting environment, across supply chains and with clients.
  • Open to UK and potentially international travel and periods away from the home office on a regular basis.
