Overview

Bring your skills to the mix as an Associate Director in Dams and Reservoirs, you will play a vital role in every aspect of dams and reservoir engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad. We specialise in all aspects of dams and reservoir engineering, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Energy and Cities & Development. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. Your Role
- Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Defining briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Setting quality assurance standards in design.
- Grow, develop and manage dams and reservoirs engineering capability within the practice.
About you
- Chartered Civil Engineer.
- Currently are or working towards being a Reservoir Supervising Engineer.
- Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and/or geotechnical engineering as applied to the management and design of dams and reservoirs and their associated hydraulic structures.
- In depth knowledge of current UK design standards, guidance and working practices including the Reservoirs Act.
