Bring your skills as an Associate Director in Civil Engineering, playing a vital role in business development and civil engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of civil engineering across sectors such as Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Water. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, adding value through client-side support and construction phases. Currently, we have opportunities in our Manchester office.
Your Purpose:
- Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
- Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and programmes.
- Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Set quality assurance standards in design.
- Grow, develop, and manage heavy civil engineering capabilities within the practice.
What you can bring:
- Chartered Civil Engineer.
- Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Comprehensive knowledge of external works design such as utilities, surfaces, earthworks, access, logistics, and UK design standards.
