This is an exciting opportunity for a Learning Technologist to join Bolton College's Information Learning Technology (ILT) Team.
In this role, you will work collaboratively across the College to design, develop, and support the use of digital resources to enhance teaching, learning, and assessment.
Ideally, you will have:
- Supported students and teachers with learning technology and online learning within a further or higher education setting
- Produced content using Adobe Creative Cloud or other multi-media applications
- Guided on the development process from initial ideas to final output demonstrating effective utilisation of digital tools commonly used within education, such as virtual learning environments, virtual classrooms, video and audio creation, and online assessment and feedback tools.
- Be committed to providing excellent customer support
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
- Championing the use of e-learning technologies across the College
- Working closely with course teams to support the creation and delivery of resources for in-class, online learning and directed study
- Working alongside the Systems Developers to test and quality assure student and teacher facing services, and to cascade training to learners and teachers in those services.

As a Learning Technologist, you will be eligible to pursue a Master’s degree or a PhD with the University of Bolton. The ILT Team’s research interests include campus chatbots, using computers to mediate the formative assessment of open-ended questions and open-source language models.
