We are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Administrator to support a busy construction team based in Coleshill. This is a key administrative role supporting construction management and site teams, ensuring projects run smoothly through strong organisation, communication, and attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone with solid office administration experience, ideally within construction, housing, or a related environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, letters, and reports
  • Coordinating diaries, meetings, site visits, and appointments for senior construction staff
  • Preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and maintaining action logs
  • Maintaining accurate electronic filing and document control systems
  • Supporting site-based teams with day-to-day administrative requirements
  • Logging and tracking build-related issues, complaints, and correspondence within internal systems
  • Updating build programmes and progress reports and producing reports as required
  • Collating monthly Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) data
  • Ordering PPE, workwear, stationery, and other site supplies
  • Assisting with site setup and handover documentation
  • Maintaining training records and booking mandatory training in line with company and legal requirements
  • Supporting compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Assisting with warranty provider and building control registrations where required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in an office-based administrative role
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to work well within a team and use initiative when required
  • Professional, positive, and proactive approach to work
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Experience within construction, housebuilding, or a similar industry would be advantageous, but not essential.
