We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for booking and teaching Snapology programs while managing our Snapology staff. Your primary focus will be on communicating with schools and organizations to arrange both mobile and in‑house field trips, ensuring a seamless experience for participants. During holiday breaks, you will also oversee the operation of day camps at our center located inside Urban Air Plymouth. This position can be part‑time or full‑time, depending on the number of programs booked and teaching hours, which may vary each week.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all Snapology event inquiries and maintain clear communication with prospective clients.
- Reach out to potential Snapology partners to expand program offerings.
- Learn and become thoroughly familiar with the Snapology curriculum to provide quality education.
- Teach Snapology programs to children aged 5-14 in various settings.
- Travel to surrounding Plymouth area locations to deliver Snapology programs at different schools and organizations.
- Oversee and monitor Snapology instructors and assistants, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Schedule employees effectively to meet program demands.
- Plan, teach, and manage day camps during holiday breaks, including communication with parents.
- Maintain Class Packs, Teacher Packs, and other classroom supplies to ensure readiness for each program.
- Ensure that instructors have the proper equipment and materials before each class begins.
- Evaluate feedback from employees and provide relevant feedback to Owner/Operator.
- Complete special projects as assigned by Owner/Operator.
Qualifications
- Criminal and child clearances must be current.
- Two or more years of experience working with children.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
- Positive attitude and flexible work schedule.
- Experience with children is required.
Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour. All Positions Are Part‑Time, Usually 2-10 Hours Per Week. Additional Hours May Be Available If You Are Willing To Be Flexible. Training Is Provided.
