We are a small primary school, situated within the heart of the beautiful village of Snape with strong links to the community. Although a small village school we make fantastic use of space, with gardening, Forest Schools, adventure trails and a large playground outside; and indoors a well-stocked library and a group room.

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team to work on a one-to-one basis with one of our children. The hours of work are 25 per week, for 38 weeks per year (term-time only).

  • Be positive and enthusiastic, able to make learning enjoyable
  • Be able to meet the needs of children with a variety of Special Educational Needs under the direction of a teacher or HLTA
  • Be able to form positive relationships with children, staff and parents
  • Have high expectations of behaviour, effort and attitude and the necessary strategies to promote these qualities
  • Have recent experience of working in a primary school or other education setting
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
