Job Title
Brand Protection Specialists use the Company’s software to monitor, identify and report sellers of, and links to products which infringe the intellectual property of clients.
The role works closely with the Brand Protection Team, the Brand Protection Manager and Head of Operations to ensure the efficient and effective running of BP activities across the Company to deliver value to clients and customers whilst in turn supporting the continued growth of the business.
Key Accountabilities:
Specific activities include but are not limited to:
Existing clients
- Ensure accurate completion of allocated tasks
- Supporting clients with interventions and research activities
- Maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients to build long-lasting relationships and maintain trust
- Maintain records in the Company’s CRM of client meetings held and details of discussions including but not restricted to any threats or opportunities
- Review current service provision and risks making proposals for upsell opportunities
- Highlight to the Brand Protection Manager changes to client retention risk rating and work with the Brand Protection Manager to set appropriate actions
Technology/Product
- Make proposals for enhancements and prioritise activities on the Tech team roadmap logging suggestions
- Review and test, providing feedback, all customer facing features (enhancements or new features) before release
- Support the identification of new opportunities within existing platforms to improve quality and quantity of data collected
New clients
- Provide feedback to Brand Protection Manager with regards the supporting IP documentation for new clients to continually improve the process
3rd party relationships
- Maintaining existing contact with platforms to support escalations and identifying new contacts for emerging platforms
Management & reporting
- Support business activities as directed by Brand Protection Manager
- Attend and actively participate in weekly team meetings
Team
- Support activities which share knowledge of clients across the team to support business resilience
- Monthly 1:1s with Brand Protection Manager
- Uphold the standards for communication and professional conduct internally and externally
Requirements:
- Experience in brand protection or intellectual property.
- Experience in a customer orientated or service role.
- Familiar with global online marketplaces & social media sites.
- Reliable, tenacious and self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
- A strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills and analytical ability.
- Proactive, efficient and able to multi-task.
- Flexible, mature and approachable, and willing, to take on additional tasks to meet objectives and business imperatives.
- High levels of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Able to handle a large volumes of data from a variety of sources presenting it to a high standard.
- Great team player, willing to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
- Additional language skills are a huge advantage
