We are seeking a Procurement Assistant to join our team—supporting the indirect team to support stores, site and the test team with day‑to‑day procurement activities, supporting the sites in Shoreham-By-Sea and Leamington‑Spa.
Key Duties
- Raise purchase orders for goods and indirect services whilst also supporting the project team when required
- Work closely with accounts payable for goods receipt and clear any parked invoices
- Liaise with existing suppliers and source alternative suppliers where necessary
- Work closely with the stores team to consolidate supply base
- Monitor the purchasing inbox to assist with all queries
Skills
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred
- Effective and efficient problem solver
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Excellent collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience of working with a stores department or warehousing function would be preferred
