Position Summary

To support the Snap-on Diagnostic (SOD) Diagnostic Sales Developers (DSDs) in their roles whilst also supporting the Handheld sales channel with sales and training activity.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities

  • Manage the DSD workload
  • Support DSDs with monthly planners
  • Work with other Snap-on partners such as Snap-on Tools in Europe
  • Review and improve technical support
  • Attend Franchisee Performance Teams (FPT) meetings
  • Attend Trade Shows as and when required
  • Manage the Seminar programme
  • Attend SOT monthly National Sales Manager (NSM) & NSM Prep meetings
  • Attend and prepare SOD & SOT kick-off and mid-year meetings
  • Handle customer or Franchisee escalations
  • Manage DSD assigned inventory levels
  • Manager and oversee personal inventory levels
  • Oversee new product releases with SOT UK & Europe
  • Review, oversee and drive Handheld subscriptions

Work Environment

Minimum 40% King’s Lynn office based

Qualifications and Skills

  • Full Driving License
  • Experience of the automotive industry and solid understanding of automotive repair business
  • Excellent PC skills and internet experience
  • Diagnostic Product Knowledge
  • Ideally require someone with hands‑on experience with vehicles
  • Proven track record with hands‑on sales experience
