( Female) Waking Night Support Worker, Gerrards Cross, SL9. Β£19.80 gross per hour. Rewarding weekend opportunity supporting an 9-year-old girl with cerebral palsy, epilepsy and complex care needs., Essential Experience: Waking night experience. Experience supporting children or young people with SEN / Neurodiversity. PEG feeding. Epilepsy trained.

Driver Required: No

Facilities: Fully adapted house. Staff will work from an office room with a laptop and monitor, located in the adjacent room to Elsie s room.

Elsie, 9, is fun-loving and enjoys swimming, farms, cartoons, shopping and time together. She has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, uses a wheelchair and has a PEG tube.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will provide attentive overnight support, helping Elsie with her bedtime routine, positioning and epilepsy-related needs while remaining awake and alert throughout the night.

This role would suit an experienced, calm and observant female Support Worker who is confident supporting children with complex needs and enjoys working as part of a dedicated team within a family home.

Where a specific gender is essential to meet the client's needs, this is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
