The Role
As CEO, you will guide Snap Collective's strategy, operations, and global artist relationships. You will shape and scale a creative, international company while ensuring we remain uncompromising in the quality and reputation of the work we publish.
Requirements
- Lead and empower a 30-person international, remote-first team across editorial, artist support, design, logistics, and tech
- Shape company strategy, growth initiatives, and operational structure
- Maintain Snap's curatorial standards and support our mission to publish only the most exceptional artists worldwide
- Represent Snap Collective at international art fairs, events, and partner meetings
- Travel occasionally to cultural hubs like New York, Paris, Berlin, and others to meet artists or partners
- Oversee business performance, budget, investor communications, and team structure
- Champion artist experience — from initial conversation to finished book and beyond
- Strengthen Snap's brand, partnerships, and positioning in the international art publishing world
Your Profile
- Proven leadership experience (CEO, Managing Director, or equivalent role)
- Outstanding communication skills and fluency in English (other languages a plus)
- Deep respect for contemporary art and the artist's voice
- Track record working with or leading distributed teams
- Experience with high-curation creative or publishing businesses is a plus
- Strong business acumen with empathy and collaborative spirit
- Willingness to travel internationally for key meetings and events
