Tommy is a bright, engaging, and inquisitive, 12-year-old boy, who lives at home with his Mum and very friendly catTommy has a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition and ADHD, and he

Overview of role: This is a sole charge role for an experienced SEN Nanny/Manny. During term time, days start at when you will collect Tommy from school and then travel home using public transport. At home, Tommy likes to relax and play with his Lego, and small world toys. Then, it’s preparing dinner, and helping Tommy with his conversational skills whilst he eats his meal. Afterwards, Tommy has a short period of screen time before he begins his evening routine. Tommy is quite independent, though he will need prompting and encouragement to take his bath and get ready for bed. Tommy responds well to positive reinforcement and routines, and his SEN Nanny/Manny should be confident to set up and implement clear routines. School holidays are full days, and the SEN Nanny/Manny will be responsible for planning all Tommy’s meals and activities. Light household tasks relating to Tommy are also part of this role. Tommy enjoys taking walks in the park and in his local area. He also enjoys visiting the London Museums, and he prefers to arrive early and leave before it gets busy. Playdates with friends are also part of his school holiday routine, so his SEN Nanny/Manny will need to be proactive in arranging these.
