- Nearest Station: Oxshott – 5‑minute walk from the family home
- Salary/Wage: Day shifts: £18.00 weekdays / £20.00 weekends. Waking nights: £20.00 weekdays / £21.00 weekends
- Driving Requirements: Strongly preferred
- Essential: Professional childcare experience. Confident in supporting a young girl with physical disabilities and using equipment such as hoists (training provided).
- Desirable: Supporting children with additional or complex needs; suctioning, chest physio, PEG feeding, epilepsy, dystonia, postural management, medication administration, and AAC/Eye Gaze communication
- Start Date: August 2026, with interviews and shadow shifts in June and July
- Days & Hours: We are seeking at least 2 Support Workers to cover a mixture of shifts: Wednesday and Thursday: 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Saturday, waking night 8.00 pm to 8.00 am. Additional ad hoc shifts available. Please advise your availability when applying.

About the Child
Lily, 5, is a determined and affectionate little girl with a great sense of humour. She loves cuddles, bubbles, swimming, bathtime, switch toys and interaction with the people around her. Lily communicates through Eye Gaze, vocalisations, facial expressions and body language. She has cerebral palsy with dystonia, epilepsy, PEG feeding requirements, respiratory vulnerabilities, and visual and hearing impairments.
The Role at a Glance
This hands‑on role focuses on supporting Lily’s therapies, rehabilitation and daily care while ensuring she enjoys fun, engaging activities. Duties include personal care, PEG feeds, medication administration, stretches, communication support and respiratory care. Waking nights involve observation, repositioning and respiratory support to keep Lily safe and comfortable. You’ll work closely with her parents, support team and therapists.
