SEN Support Worker, Leyton, E10. Fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting an engaging 10-year-old boy after school and during school holidays. £21.63 Gross per Hour Key Information · Job Title: SEN Support Worker · Pay: £21.63 gross per hour · Location: Leyton, E10 · Hours and Days of Work: Term Time: Monday to Friday, 3:15pm to 8:30pm. School Holidays: 27 hours per week (3 x 9 hour shifts Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 6:00pm), agreed in advance with the family. · Essential Experience: Minimum 1 year's experience supporting children with emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural regulation support and behaviours that challenge. Experience supporting clients with seizure management. Confident working within a family home. Willingness to complete training. · Desirable: Experience supporting non-verbal children, or children with communication differences. Experience with positive behaviour support. Makaton/Adapted communication experience. · Driver Required: Yes - Automatic WAV for use while on duty. · Family Pets: None · Recruiter: Jade Bariesheff Felix, 10, is charming and curious, with a real love of sensory play, colouring, buses and trips to the park. He has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, developmental delay and a visual impairment, alongside limited verbal communication. He needs support with emotional regulation, personal care and enjoying activities safely in the community.
