Complex Care Support Worker, HA7. A part-time position is available for a professional Complex Care Support Worker to join a team providing 2:1 care and support to Winnie, a fabulous 18-year-old living in Stanmore. £18.80 Gross per Hour

Nearest Tube/Station: Stanmore Underground Station
Wage/Salary: £18.80 Gross per Hour £17,000.00 + Gross per Annum
Driver Essential? Preferable, WAV for use whilst on duty
Essential: Experience supporting children or young adults with complex care and medical needs, including suctioning, confident in all aspects of manual handling. Non smoker / vaper. This role is open to Female applicants only.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: 3 weekday shifts (set days / shifts to be mutually agreed) 4.00pm to 8.00pm, school holidays same 3 days: 8.00am to 8.00pm

About our client: Winnie, 18, is a fabulous girly girl, with a great sense of humour; a social butterfly who loves to laugh! She loves to have her hair and nails done, to look as fabulous as she is. Winnie has a long list of hobbies and interests, including listening to music, watching movies and all things arts and crafts. Winnie has Cerebral Palsy (GMFCS Level 5), scoliosis and Dystonia. She requires oral suctioning, nebulisers, and has a Gastrojejunostomy in situ for all nutrition, fluids and medication. She is a wheelchair user and communicates using switches. Due to her care needs Winnie has 2:1 support, 24/7. Winnie lives in Stanmore with her mum, in a fully adapted home that includes a therapy room and attends college. Snap Care, working in collaboration with Winnie s case management, are recruiting an afternoon and school holidays Complex Care Support Worker to join her growing team.

Overview of role: The Complex Care Support Worker will work alongside another team member, assisting and supporting Winnie with all areas of ADLs, health, care and medical needs, promoting independence and exploring new hobbies and interests. Training is provided in all areas of Winne s care and health needs however you must have previous experience in complex medical care. The Complex Care Support Worker will work in collaboration with Winnie s family, therapy team and other healthcare professionals to ensure Winnie is thriving and given every opportunity to learn, and live life to the full. Overtime is available if desired.
