For over 135 years, Smythson has defined British craftsmanship, timeless design, and considered luxury. We are seeking a Visual Merchandising Co-ordinator to help bring our stores and concessions to life, delivering inspiring in-store experiences that reflect our heritage and commercial vision.
This role is ideal for creative and detail-oriented candidates with a passion for luxury retail, whether you are early in your VM career or looking to take the next step in an established role. You will work closely with the Visual Merchandising Manager and Marketing Director to execute seasonal campaigns, window installations, and creative VM projects that tell the Smythson story.
Key Responsibilities- Support in-store merchandising, seasonal launches, and window installations
- Develop and implement VM guidelines across stores, concessions, and wholesale accounts
- Assist with creative VM projects, signage, POS, and store presentations using Adobe Creative Suite
- Conduct store visits, support training, and uphold visual standards
- Assist with store openings, press days, showroom setups, and marketing events
- Background in Art, Design, Fashion, or related field
- 2-3 years experience in Visual Merchandising, luxury retail, or relevant internships
- Strong creative eye with commercial awareness
- Energetic, hands‑on, highly organised, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign)
- Flexible and collaborative, with an eagerness to learn and contribute
