About The Role

Are you looking for a new challenge and want to be part of an expanding business, filled with fun & exciting opportunities? Come and join our team of superheroes, as we are on the search to recruit our next generation of Sales Assistants, for Smyths Toys Superstores! This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay of £12.90 per hour for over 21 and £11.00 per hour for under 21.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
  • Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team
  • Keep the store clean and tidy
  • Pack shelves and merchandise
  • Work delivery and complete price changes
  • Work on the tills
  • Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers

The Ideal Candidate

Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential: Nursery/Baby department. Our stores are open 7 days a week so we need our Sales Assistants to be as flexible as possible.
