Currently, we’re seeking a warehouse duty manager to join our team to assist in managing our operations within our warehouse in Corby.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Site General Manager & Deputy Manager
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organising, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals
- Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
- KPI Monitoring
- Constantly looking for areas of improvement in processes of the business
- Train, develop and manage their warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long-term performance goals
- To promote, improve and maintain a professional working environment and employee experience for both temporary and permanent employees
- Implementing and ensuring that teams adhere to operational policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
The Ideal Candidate
- Supervisory or management experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of planning, organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Highly motivated and ambitious
- A confident self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong multi-tasking skills to prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to building good relationships with the customers, your team and other key stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft office packages
