Smyths Toys are recruiting Temporary Baby Room Assistants! Are you ambitious, hard working, energetic and reliable? Do you have excellent customer service skills? Smyths Toy Superstores is Europe's top toy retailer specialising in toys, software, outdoor and nursery products.
We are currently recruiting fully flexible Temporary Baby Room Assistants. As a Baby Room Assistant, you will be expected to provide a high level of customer service, help your Baby Room team achieve daily targets and ensure that the department is well stocked and well presented at all times. Successful candidates will work as part of a fast-paced and dynamic team. Till training will also be provided, as occasional till work may be required.
Baby Room shifts will involve assisting customers face to face, helping them to decide on the correct nursery product for them, including car seat demonstrations and advising customers with products across the Baby Room Departments such as travel systems, pushchairs, cot beds and mattresses. Being a friendly and helpful member of the Baby Room team is essential.
Retail experience in nursery customer service is highly desirable. Our stores are open 7 days a week and we need our Baby Room Assistants to be as flexible as possible to ensure success. Weekends are our busiest trading days, so it is likely that you will be required to work on these days.
