About The Role
We are currently recruiting a fully flexible Outdoor Assistant. As an Outdoor Sales Assistant, you will be expected to provide a high level of customer service, help your team achieve daily targets, and ensure that the department is well stocked and well presented at all times. You will work as part of a fast‑paced and dynamic team and will be trained as a bike builder (full training will be given).
Store location: Cowley Retail Park, UB8 2TE, Uxbridge, London.
Rates Of Pay
Temporary contract: £13.20 per hour for applicants over 21 and £11.30 per hour for applicants under 21.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
- Work as part of a fast‑paced and dynamic team
- Keep the store clean and tidy
- Pack shelves and merchandise
- Work deliveries and complete price changes
- Learn about and keep up to date with products to help customers
- Work in warehouse scanning in delivery and rack stock away to a high standard
- Warehouse maintenance
- Opportunity to build bikes
Our stores are open 7 days a week. Sales Assistants must be as flexible as possible to ensure success. Weekends are the busiest trading days, so working on weekends is likely required.
