About The Role
Smyths Toys Livingston are hiring. Are you looking for a new challenge and want to be part of an expanding business, filled with fun & exciting opportunities? Come and join Oscar's team of superheroes, as we are on the search to recruit our next generation of Sales Assistants, for Smyths Toys Superstores!
Various part time positions available.
Rates of pay: Under 21 £10.25 per hour, 21 and over £12.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
- Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team
- Keep the store clean and tidy
- Pack shelves and merchandise
- Work delivery and complete price changes
- Work on the tills
- Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers
Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:
- Outdoor/Bikes
- Nursery
- Software & Gaming
- Backdoor/Warehouse
Our stores are open 7 days a week so we need our Sales Assistants to be as flexible as possible. Initially, you will be hired on a temporary basis to give you the opportunity to see if you enjoy this fast paced world of retail.
