About The Role
We are looking for Sales Assistants for Smyths Toys Superstores.
Remuneration
This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay of £13.20 per hour for over 21 and £11.30 per hour for under 21.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
- Work as part of a fast‑paced and dynamic team
- Keep the store clean and tidy
- Pack shelves and merchandise
- Work delivery and complete price changes
- Work on the tills
- Learn about and keep up to date with our products to help customers
The Ideal Candidate
Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential: outdoor/bikes, nursery, software & gaming, backdoor/warehouse. Ability to be flexible as our stores are open seven days a week.
