About The Role
We are looking to recruit a Duty Manager for our store in Nottingham. If you are a retail manager looking to progress your career and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, we would like to hear from you. Join us during this exciting time of business growth.
Salary: £31,000+ depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Sales
- Deliver, maximise, and exceed sales targets in store
- Maintain availability of all products on the shop floor
- Ensure the team’s familiarity with all products in all departments
- Execute customer purchases in accordance with company guidelines
- Customer Service
- Ensure all customer queries are dealt with promptly and effectively
- Achieve and maintain company standards on housekeeping, floor presentation, and space planning
- Participate in weekly stock takes – identify and report abnormal counts to the Store Manager
- Staffing/Operations
- Match staffing levels to business needs and in‑store events
- Prepare, monitor, and action daily task board
- Drive the team’s knowledge of top sellers and departmental stock loss
- Assist the Store Manager with staffing issues, e.g., training and performance reviews
- Handle cash, security, and daily spot checks on all tills
- Adhere to company cash/stock handling procedures at all times
- Oversee opening and closing of the store
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven track record as a Retail Manager in a fast‑paced retail environment
- High level of operational, leadership, planning, organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Target‑driven and customer‑service oriented
- Highly motivated and ambitious
- Self‑starter with a can‑do attitude
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
