About The Role
Sales Assistant for Smyths Toys Superstores. This is a temporary contract role with pay rate of £12.90 per hour for employees over 21 and £11 per hour for employees under 21.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
- Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team
- Keep the store clean and tidy
- Pack shelves and merchandise
- Work on deliveries and complete price changes
- Operate the tills
- Learn about and keep up to date with products to help customers
Ideal Candidate
- Retail experience in Outdoor/Bikes, Nursery, Software & Gaming, or Backdoor/Warehouse is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Flexible and able to work as the store operates 7 days a week.
