Overview
We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Assistant for our store. The role involves maintaining the warehouse layout and standards, ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe and tidy at all times, assisting with the intake and processing of large deliveries and stock movements, managing faulty items and completing associated paperwork and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Fully flexible throughout the week (Monday – Sunday) and flexible to work between the hours of 6 am to 5 pm.
- Work as part of a team to ensure deliveries are broken down and organised, ready for stock replenishment on the floor.
- Maintain the warehouse, keeping it clean, tidy and safe.
- Prioritise safety for staff and customers, adhering to manual handling guidelines.
Person Specification
- Warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic IT and computer skills.
- Must have proof of right to work in NI.
- Flexibility.
Salary & Contract
This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay of £12.90 per hour for over 21 and £11.00 per hour for under 21.
