We’re searching for a skilled and reliable Senior Sous Chef to support the kitchen leadership at a newly launched Japanese restaurant in the West End. The menu champions modern Japanese cuisine, focusing on sharing plates, grilled dishes, and refined comfort classics in a sophisticated, multi-level venue.
The Role:
- You’ll help manage the full kitchen operation, supporting the Head Chef with service, systems, stock, and team development – with plenty of room to contribute creatively.
- Oversee daily prep, service, and shift management across sections
- Lead and supervise the brigade, ensuring standards are maintained
- Support with staff training, development, and rota planning
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and supplier management
- Maintain a clean, organised, and legally compliant kitchen
