Relocation Opportunity for a talented Restaurant Manager needed for a stunning restaurant off the Coast of England. £55,000 – £60,000 per annum. 9.5-month contract (paid over 12 months)
Smyth & Co are thrilled to be recruiting for a Restaurant Manager to join an exceptional venue on the stunning South Coast of England. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to lead front-of-house operations at a high-performing coastal restaurant in a vibrant seasonal setting.
The Role:
- Contract: 9.5 months (February to December), with full 12 months’ pay
- Leave: Enjoy 2.5 months off over Christmas – no on-site work during this period
- Accommodation: Provided for the first 3 months to support relocation to the Isle of Wight
- Daily Covers:
- March to June: 250 per day
- June to September: 500–600 per day (operating 7 days a week in peak season)
- Team Size: 40–50 including front-of-house and kitchen teams
What You’ll Do:
- Lead all front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a high-volume environment
- Manage and motivate a large FOH team, maintaining service excellence during peak season
- Work closely with the Head Chef and senior leadership team to deliver smooth service and operational efficiency
- Drive staff training, customer satisfaction, and overall team performance
- Maintain a high standard of hospitality that reflects the venue’s exceptional coastal reputation
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or General Manager in a high-volume, premium restaurant setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage large, seasonal teams
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Willingness to relocate for the duration of the contract
