As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate, ambitious and highly self-driven Candidate Consultant to join our team. We offer amongst other benefits possibly the best commission scheme in the industry globally.
This role requires an exceptional work ethic, genuine hospitality knowledge and a confident, outgoing personality.
You must enjoy speaking with people, building relationships and representing Smyth & Co professionally in a highly competitive market.
You will also need to be confident using AI and technology.
We invest in the best recruitment systems, search platforms and AI-driven tools available, so strong general IT skills and a willingness to embrace new technology are essential.
Previous agency or internal recruitment experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
We are equally interested in people from strong hospitality backgrounds who have the personality, commercial awareness and determination to build a successful career in recruitment.
The Role
- Source and engage exceptional hospitality candidates internationally
- Build trusted relationships with emerging talent and senior industry leaders
- Conduct interviews and assess experience, personality, motivation and cultural fit
- Create compelling candidate profiles and manage CV submissions
- Support consultants across live roles and confidential executive searches
- Use AI, market mapping, referrals, social media and advanced search technology to identify talent
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Build and manage accurate candidate pipelines within our CRM
- Develop a detailed understanding of our clients, their brands and hiring requirements
- Act as a confident and positive ambassador for Smyth & Co
About You
- Excellent knowledge of the hospitality industry
- An outstanding work ethic and genuine desire to succeed
- Passionate, ambitious and highly self-motivated
- Confident, outgoing and comfortable speaking with people at every level
- Strong general IT skills and confidence using AI tools
- Curious about new technology and quick to learn new systems
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Persistent, resourceful and willing to go beyond the obvious candidate market
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team
- Previous agency or internal recruitment experience would be a bonus
