We’re recruiting a talented Head Pastry Chef to join a world-class pastry operation at one of the UK’s leading five-star properties. This is a hands-on leadership role within a large, fast-paced kitchen, working closely with the Executive Head Pastry Chef to deliver exceptional quality across multiple dining outlets and event spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day pastry operations across restaurants, afternoon tea, events, and banqueting
  • Develop and execute seasonal menus, desserts, and showpieces using the finest ingredients
  • Train, inspire and mentor a team of pastry chefs and junior team members
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, consistency, and quality control
  • Oversee stock management, ordering, and cost control
  • Ensure hygiene and health & safety standards are upheld at all times
  • Collaborate with senior chefs on product development and innovation
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive kitchen culture

About You:

  • Proven experience as Head or Senior Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel, members’ club, or high-end restaurant
  • Strong classical pastry background with a creative and modern edge
  • Calm and confident leading a large team under pressure
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and mentoring skills
  • Experience delivering high-volume service without compromising on quality
