Smyth & Co are proud to be partnering with a highly exclusive client within the luxury hospitality sector to appoint a talented and commercially minded Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, high-performing business operating at the very top end of the market. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, supporting financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and commercial decision-making across a portfolio of premium hospitality assets.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised individual who combines strong technical accounting ability with excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. The business offers a genuinely collaborative and enjoyable culture, alongside hybrid working (2 days per week from home) and a range of excellent lifestyle and team benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Supporting operational stakeholders with financial insights and reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Assisting with audit preparation and statutory requirements
- Working closely with senior leadership to improve financial processes and controls
- Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail across all financial activity
- Previous experience within hospitality, luxury, lifestyle, or high-end service-led environments is highly desirable
- Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication ability
- Commercially aware with a hands-on and adaptable approach
- Confident working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Strong Excel and financial systems knowledge
