We are seeking an exceptional Head Banqueting Chef to lead the banqueting and events kitchen of a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in North London. This is a high-profile role overseeing large-scale, high-end events including weddings, galas, corporate functions and VIP private dining. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented senior chef who thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment and has a passion for delivering flawless large-volume dining experiences.

As Head Banqueting Chef, you will:

  • Lead, inspire and develop a large banqueting kitchen brigade
  • Plan and execute high-volume events ranging from intimate VIP dinners to 500+ covers
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and Events team to create seasonal, innovative menus
  • Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation and consistency at every event
  • Manage kitchen operations including ordering, cost control, staffing and rotas
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety and compliance
  • Drive creativity and continuously elevate the banqueting offering

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is currently a Head Banqueting Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or premium events venue
  • Has strong experience delivering large-scale, high-end banqueting and events
  • Is a natural leader who can motivate and develop teams
