We’re working with a luxury country house hotel in the South West of England to appoint a Front of House Manager to lead their guest-facing operations. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing reception, duty management and nights, ensuring a seamless experience from pre-arrival through to departure.
The Role:
- Lead, support and develop the reception, duty and night teams
- Oversee the full guest journey, ensuring warm, professional and efficient service
- Manage day-to-day front office operations, standards and procedures
- Work closely with the senior management team to drive service, efficiency and consistency
- Support with scheduling, training, reviews and ongoing team development
- Act as a visible duty manager presence across the hotel when required
About You:
- Currently a Head of Department or strong Assistant Front of House Manager ready to step up
- Experience within quality hotels, ideally luxury or boutique
- A natural people leader – calm, confident and approachable
- Highly organised, with strong time-management and communication skills
- Comfortable working across reception, duty management and night operations
- Tech-savvy with experience of hotel PMS (Opera or similar an advantage)
