Smyth & Co NFP are delighted to be partnering with a growing healthcare charity as they launch an exciting new community-based volunteer service delivering compassionate, non-clinical support to people in need.

This is a pivotal role leading a pilot project with real potential to scale into a model that could be adopted by communities across the UK.

  • As Volunteer Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of this new service:
  • Recruiting, training and supporting a team of volunteers
  • Coordinating referrals
  • Carefully matching volunteers with individuals and families

You’ll also build trusted relationships with GP practices, Primary Care Networks, community nursing teams, hospices and care homes, acting as a key point of contact and supporting clear referral pathways.
