Role description

Smyth&Co are delighted once again to be partnering with a national children’s charity in their search for a for a High Value Gifts Manager.

This role is all about building relationships and securing meaningful support from both new and existing donors, helping more young people thrive.

We are looking for someone with a strong track record of securing high-value gifts from trusts, corporate partners and or Major Donors —someone who’s a great communicator and passionate about creating lasting, positive partnerships.

You will help grow and manage relationships with existing trusts, foundations, and corporate partners, while also researching and connecting with new funders to build long-term support.

You will also support and steward a portfolio of high-value donors, ensuring they feel engaged and appreciated, identifying opportunities for sponsorship, employee involvement, and wider collaboration.

Working closely with teams across the organisation, you’ll gather powerful stories and data to bring our work to life. You’ll ensure that young people’s stories are shared respectfully and reflect their strengths.
