Sous Chef – 5-Star Luxury Hotel
Location: Just outside West London
An exciting opportunity to join the kitchen brigade of an exceptional 5-star luxury hotel.
We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and talented Sous Chef to join the team at this prestigious luxury hotel, located just outside West London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an established kitchen team within a beautiful hotel environment, where quality, consistency and attention to detail are at the heart of the operation.
Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to deliver outstanding food across the hotel's dining operations while maintaining the highest standards expected of a 5-star property.
The Role
Supporting the Head Chef with the smooth running of the kitchen operation.
Leading and motivating the brigade to deliver consistently high standards.
Taking an active role in food preparation, cooking and service.
Maintaining excellent standards of presentation, quality and consistency.
Supporting menu development and the introduction of new dishes.
Training, mentoring and developing junior members of the team.
Ensuring effective stock control, ordering and cost management.
Maintaining exceptional food hygiene and health and safety standards.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef within a quality hotel or restaurant environment.
A genuine passion for food, quality ingredients and modern cooking.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a busy, high-standard kitchen environment.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to progress.
