Smyth & Co are proud to be representing one of the UK’s most prestigious luxury hotels in their search for an exceptional Senior Sous Chef to join the team at their flagship property on the outskirts of North West London. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to step into a senior role within a truly world-class culinary operation.
At the heart of the hotel is a vibrant, theatre-style restaurant, a bold, open-kitchen concept with live cooking stations delivering everything from modern Asian and rustic Italian to seafood, robata-grilled meats, vegan innovations, and vibrant seasonal salads. The restaurant is a celebration of quality and seasonality, with ingredients sourced locally including from the hotel's own abundant kitchen garden, which supplies fruit, vegetables and herbs grown on-site.
The Role
As Senior Sous Chef, you’ll be a key leader in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen (serving over 300 covers per service). Open for breakfast and dinner throughout the week, with the addition of lunch from Friday to Sunday, the restaurant demands creativity, energy and precise execution at every service. Working alongside a talented brigade and reporting to the Executive Chef, you will help drive standards, contribute to menu innovation, and support the day-to-day operation of the kitchen. You will also play a pivotal role in mentoring junior chefs, helping to build a culture of learning, excellence and passion.

- Proven experience in a similar senior role within a high-end, fast-paced and creatively driven kitchen
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to train, mentor and motivate a team
