An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented Sous Chef to join the opening team of an exciting new French restaurant concept from one of the UK's most respected two Michelin-starred chefs. Set to become one of London's most anticipated openings, this restaurant will showcase refined French cuisine, exceptional produce, and meticulous attention to detail within an elegant and contemporary fine dining setting.
We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Sous Chef who thrives in high-performance kitchens and is looking to be part of a landmark opening from day one. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a new restaurant whilst working alongside some of the industry's most talented hospitality professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Sous in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Lead and inspire a brigade of chefs during service
- Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Assist with menu development and seasonal dish creation
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards
- Support stock management, ordering, and kitchen organisation
- Help develop junior chefs and maintain a positive kitchen culture
- Drive excellence across all sections of the kitchen
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Current or recent experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
- Michelin-starred, fine dining, or high-end French restaurant experience required
- Strong understanding of classical and modern French cooking techniques
- Experience working with premium seasonal ingredients
- Proven ability to lead and develop kitchen teams
