Head Chef – Beautiful Gastro Pub – West Sussex An exciting opportunity for a talented Head Chef to join a charming, food-led gastro pub in the beautiful West Sussex countryside, near Arundel.
Our client is looking for a passionate chef with a strong background in modern British cuisine, who enjoys working with fresh, seasonal produce and creating delicious, well-executed dishes.
This role would suit an experienced Head Chef or a strong Sous Chef looking to take the next step in their career, with the opportunity to bring their own ideas and creativity to the menu.
What we're looking for:
Strong background in fresh-food gastro pubs or quality British restaurants.

Passion for seasonal cooking and locally sourced produce.

Confidence in creating menus and developing new dishes.

Ability to manage and motivate a kitchen team.

Good understanding of food costs, stock management and GP.

A hands-on chef who enjoys being involved in daily service.

Someone reliable, organised and passionate about delivering great food.
