The Role:
- Member of WSM Management Team
- Setting and achievement of overall business objectives
- Responsible for the efficient performance of the Despatch department
- Daily management of the departmental Team Leaders
- Manage selected projects towards a successful conclusion
- Ensure the company standards and disciplines are followed
- Manage selected despatch and transport improvement projects towards successful conclusions
- Support customer and supplier visits when required
- Maintain housekeeping standards of the highest level
- Maintain departmental relations and efficient supplier relationships
- Minimize waste to within the department, zero loss concept
- Facilitate communication and share best practice across the main site and Moor Park
- Contribute ideas/vision/strategy to enhance the efficiency of the business
