The Role: Reporting to the Despatch Manager and, out of hours, the Shift Manager, the Team Leader is responsible for coordinating shift activity, leading the team, and ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate warehouse and despatch operations while maintaining excellent customer service levels. The role requires strong leadership, operational awareness, and a proactive approach to health safety, performance management, and continuous improvement.
Main Duties:
- Lead Health Safety by raising hazards, conducting Safety for Life conversations, and supporting accident reporting and investigations while promoting a positive safety culture.
- Allocate labour and resources effectively to achieve planned workload and service levels.
- Train, coach, and mentor Operators across all areas of despatch.
