The Role A vacancy has arisen for Material Handling at our Production/Warehouse facility at Markham Vale. Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations within the warehouse as well as the safe and efficient loading/unloading of vehicles, whilst health and safety is adhered to at all times. The role involves working a 12 hour continental shift pattern. This challenging role demands a proactive “hands on” approach, complemented with a ‘can do’ attitude, accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to be able to work to deadlines and laid down procedures. You will be responsible for a team of operatives on your shift and will be expected to lead by example at all times.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
- Counter-balance license and experience – Essential
- Excellent time management with a flexible approach to work
- Warehouse management systems experience (preferably Vision)
- Stock control experience/Goods in-out experience
- Skills: accuracy, attention to detail, reliability
- Able to work to tight deadlines and targets - under own initiative and as part of a team
- Naturally self-motivated and have the ability to work under minimum supervision
- The willingness to carry out other tasks as and when required
