About the Role
This role is central to strengthening our long‑term engineering capability—ensuring equipment performs at its best and our standards remain consistently high. As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will apply and develop a wide range of engineering skills while utilising modern maintenance methodologies including condition‑based, risk‑based, and time‑based approaches. You will deliver high‑quality maintenance activities and provide technical support that enhances safety, reliability and operational performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Complete PPM and ensure accurate maintenance records
- Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical/electrical issues
- Maintain equipment to manufacturer and industry standards
- Support equipment installation, upgrades and commissioning
- Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimisation
- Ensure high safety and housekeeping standards at all times
About You
Essential Criteria:
- Engineering apprenticeship (4–5 years) or equivalent time served experience
- ONC/HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Strong mechanical & electrical maintenance experience
- Skilled in welding, fabrication, turning/milling
- Excellent fault‑finding skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Experience in automated manufacturing environments
Desirable:
- FMCG or high‑automation background
- SAP CMMS experience
- Lean/CI qualifications
- IOSH/NEBOSH
