Summary
The Aerator Operator is responsible for the overall operation of the section of the Asitrade single-face laminator that makes the single-face liner.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following:
- Prepare rolls of paper (for inside liner and medium) for placement into the single facer.
- Prepare splices of rolls of paper to ensure smooth transition during roll change.
- Make necessary adjustments to heat, tension, moisture of single face to minimize warp and ensure good adhesion of liner and medium.
- Clean and maintain flute roll cartridges to ensure unobstructed vacuum and air operation in rolls.
- Monitor temperature of rolls, starch adhesive, and moisture of liner to reduce variables on manufacture of single face.
- Adhere to routine maintenance spelled out in the Preventive Maintenance procedures.
- Assist dry-end operator and/or utility personnel as required.
- Responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Overtime is required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The starting rate for this position is $17.00 an hour depending on your role, level and location.
