Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an SMT Technician located in Doncaster. The SMT Technician will be responsible for service and troubleshooting of surface-mount technology (SMT) machines and equipment. Reporting to the Engineering manager, you will work within the service department. You will also support our other sites in Mexico and USA.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating and repairing SMT machines, screen printers, reflow ovens, AOI, SPI and SMT feeders.
- Knowledge of electronic components and printed circuit boards.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain SMT machines, printers and feeders.
- Quality control skills in electronic assembly.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Technical degree or certification in electronics is a plus.
- Passport essential.
