Hours: 42.5 hours

The Role

We are seeking an HGV Driver to join our Hemel Hempstead branch, delivering building materials locally through multi-drop routes. You will ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally while providing excellent customer service.

Hours: 42.5 hours, Monday to Friday

Start times between 6:30am – 7:30am

No overnight stays or late evenings

Saturday rota (approx. 2 per month), paid at 1.5x overtime rate

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate HGV vehicles safely and in line with regulations
  • Load/unload materials securely
  • Complete deliveries as scheduled
  • Maintain accurate driving records and tachograph use
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks
  • Deliver excellent customer service
